Hubbard Woods MAYFEST 2024!
Dear Families,
We are thrilled to announce that MAYFEST 2024 will be held on Sunday, May 19th from 11-2pm.This event has run for over 40 years and celebrates HW as the “Heart of the Neighborhood.”
For those of you new to MAYFEST, the event has two separate components:
- Online Raffle: tailored for the students which runs prior to the physical event. Winners are announced at the end of the carnival.
- Carnival: family-friendly experience including inflatables, games, prizes, a DJ and food which takes place on the school grounds.
MAYFEST is our school’s largest, annual fundraiser and we are asking for your generous support of our raffle, which is made possible by donations from our very own Hubbard Woods School families and teachers/staff. 100% of the funds raised for MAYFEST go directly back to our school.
You can support the raffle in two ways:

Back to School Online Payments for 2023-2024 School Year!
Back to school time is here and it’s time for the PTO to collect payment through PayPal for the following:
- School Supplies
- Yearbooks
- Teacher/Staff Gifts
- PTO Annual Donation
The nominal PayPal fees have been absorbed into the cost of the school supplies. PayPal will not charge you additional fees to process. Press the “Add to Cart” button after every payment selection, and to add payments for multiple children. Please remember to add each child’s name/grade as requested.
School Supplies
As a convenience to parents, the Hubbard Woods PTO arranges for every child to receive a boxed school supply kit on the first day of school. Kits have already been ordered for all enrolled students. The supplies are specific to the child’s grade level requirements.
However, if you wish to OPT OUT, contact Amy Sullivan, PTO Treasurer, and email Margaret Reynolds for your teacher’s detailed supply list.
Yearbook
Yearbooks can be purchased for $26 each and are delivered to your child on yearbook signing day (usually the last week of school). Please consider ordering one yearbook for each child. All students gather for an end-of-year book signing, and typically each child has their own yearbook. Questions, contact Colleen Crutchfield.
Teacher/Staff Gifts
In appreciation for all that our HW teachers and staff do, the PTO provides each teacher and staff member a generous gift card during the holiday season. This takes one less to-do off your list and provides uniformity across the teachers and staff. To make a contribution to this fund, please add to your cart a gift for each child individually and provide the child’s name. The requested amount is $50 per student.
PTO Annual Donation
The HW PTO is the source that funds many meaningful additions to our school and our children’s elementary school experience. Over the years, we have provided funding for the creation of the Idea Lab, innovative materials for the classrooms and Resource Center, playground equipment, and much more. Thank you for considering a tax deductible donation to help support our school. The requested amount is $20 per family.
